Bay Area songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sara Gallagher writes folk songs with a tender sensibility, producing a sound that is both comforting and captivating. With influences such as Karen Dalton, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and Lalya McCalla, her banjo style honors a variety of genres, eras, and traditions. She has toured around the world, most commonly with her husband and musical collaborator, Jacob Aranda.
