Kokedama Workshop

Experience the ancient art of kokedama in our hands-on workshop! Also known as "moss ball" in Japanese, kokedama is a beautiful, minimalist form of bonsai that transforms a plant into a stunning living sculpture.

In this class, you'll engage in a meditative, tactile experience as you learn to create a moss-wrapped ball of soil for a plant. You'll leave with your own unique, handcrafted kokedama and the knowledge to care for it.

Bring a touch of nature and tranquility into your home with this beautiful piece of living art. No experience necessary—just come ready to get your hands dirty!

This workshop is $95 and open to ages 12+.
All materials, light bites, and refreshments provided!

The workshop is led by Anna Trautman of Verdant Spaces.

Anna designs botanical experiences that transform spaces into expressions of nature. Through curated gardens, installations, and art, she cultivates experiential living—bringing beauty, balance, and connection to everyday life.
