Community Discussion: Transitions

At the start of this year, Sara set out to explore the theme of transition in her artworks, honoring the courage, complexity, and emotional depth that comes with navigating change. Whether it's changing careers, grieving a loss, immigrating, embracing one’s true identity, or one of the many forms that transition takes, it touches all of us.

You’re invited to join us for a community dialogue on transition in a space for active listening, honest sharing, and building solidarity. This larger gathering expands on the smaller discussions Sara has hosted in the past, creating room for deeper communal reflection and connection. She looks at it as an experiment in communal emotional intimacy.

It’s vulnerable and bold to show up in such ways, and wow, do we need more safe spaces for that these days! If you feel the pull to join — we encourage you to follow it!

For those interested, there will also be a photography station set up for after the discussion. Anyone open to being photographed may be included in future drawings inspired by the emotional experiences shared during this gathering. Participation is completely optional.

Wednesday, July 30, 6–8pm.

Come to listen, share, and connect through a deeper understanding of our neighbors and peers.

This inclusive public event is open to all, so please feel free to share.
