Join us for an engaging evening with a panel discussion featuring artists from our group exhibition, Abstracted Figures.
Abstracted Figures explores the intersection of abstraction and figurative work as two powerful means of expressing the complexities and nuances of the human experience. Honoring the distinct styles of the gallery’s founders, the show brings together seven contemporary artists whose work spans emotional, social, and environmental terrain. From Kate Tova’s richly layered mixed-media pieces to Calvin Lai’s disrupted realism and Kacy Jung’s sculptural photographs, each artist offers a unique entry point into themes of identity, perception, and experience.
Curated by Studio 5 co-founder Sara Gallagher, this exhibition features works from artists Jaime Lovejoy, Luke Kraman, Wolfgang Bloch, Kate Tova, Calvin Lai, Kacy Jung, and Tubi Ho—voices from across California and beyond, united in their pursuit of truth through form.
Artist Panel Talk: Sept 6, 4 - 6pm
